LCORE-INDO held two trainings entitled “Technical and Financial Assessment of Bioenergy Project Development” and “Construction and Technical Aspect of PV Rooftop” for 1.5 days in parallel on April 27-28, 2015 at Amaroossa Hotel in Bogor. The participants are the staffs of Directorate Bioenergy and Directorate of Various Energy, Directorate General for New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (DJEBTKE), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. There were 15 participants for the Bioenergy Training and 20 participants for the PV Rooftop Training.
 

The objective of the trainings is to provide theoretical and practical knowledge in biogas/biomass as well as PV rooftop project development. Two trainers for bioenergy, Dr. Matthias Eichelbroenner and Budiman R. Saragih shared project development steps, bioenergy technology identification, feedstock engineering process and also discussing about how to assess technical feasibility and financial viability for biogas/biomass project development in Indonesia. Whereas the trainer for solar energy, Michael Wollny shared the know-how and details on PV Rooftop construction and technical aspects, as well as share the lesson learned and existing international standards that are available for solar energy.
